Pansy thoughtfulness expanding card

I have been wanting to do a card folded like this since I saw it in Cards and Crafts for Christmas Volume 6.  I didn't use any patterned paper but created my own using Spray Inks and Stamps.  I used all of my favorite colours and my hands got quite colourful as well.  I stamped the image onto Stamping card and coloured the image with spray inks by spraying onto a white tile.  I layed the stamp up and stuck it together with foam pads.  I used the single pansy stamps to make the background on the triangles and the card that folds around the middle and Walesby stamp for the background on the top circle.  I really enjoyed making this card it was easier than I thought and only took me an evening in between looking after the children.  The Inks, Stamping Card and Stamps I got from Oak House Studios.

4th Birthday Beach Scrapbook Page

I am really proud of how this project has turned out.  This scrapbook page is from my daughters birthday when we went for a walk on the beach to run off some energy and ended up have a lovely time.

I used white linen 12x12 card and sprayed with Spray Inks, then aged the edge with Chocolate Ink Pad and stamped with shell stamps to create the background paper.  It took a while to choose the pictures as I had so many, but once I had, I cropped them down and then matted and layed and used the left over card stock to stamp and cut out shells which I have stuck on with foam pads.  The stickers at the bottom I already had in my stash.

I typed up the journalling on stamping card as it gives such a nice finish, then aged with the Chocolate Ink pad.

The Inks, Stamping card, Ink Pad and Stamps are from Oak House Studios.

My First Exploding Box

I embossed with silver embossing powder using the whalesby stamp and the pansy stamp, then after putting the box together I used the left over coordinating card stock, stamped and cut out some more pansy's, I curled the edges and glued them on with my glue gun.  I love exploding boxes as you can put as little or as much inside as you like, I have left this one quite simple but yet it is still very pretty.

The stamps and embossing powder are from Oak House Studios

The image is matted and layed onto copper mirror card and white card the same on both card and box.  The stamp of course is from Oak House Studios.

Colour Chemistry Inked Papers

This is what I did with all my new Colour Chemistry Inks.  I got all of the colours as they were so complementary it was too hard to choose which not to get.  When I got home I just started spraying and I made all of these background papers.  After the ink had dried I stamped them and then inked the edges.  I wrote on the back of each one what colours I used so that I can repeat any of the papers again.  I had so much fun doing these papers these Inks are a must for everyone  as you will never again need to buy papers.

All the stamps and Inks are from Oak House Studios.

My Mum's Summer School Project.

This is a project my mum completed at Lynnda's summer school last year.  It is going to be framed and given as a gift.  All of the techniques were taught by Lynnda and all the stamps are from the Oak House Studio collection.  I love how she has used polymer clay, colour chemistry spray and embossing to make such a lovely work of art.

One Stamp Project

The idea behind this project was for lynnda to make as any different items using one stamp and as part of this project I stamped onto a ribbon for my daughters hair I used the clematis stamp and as you can see it looks wonderful.

Stamping and Spraying on Tags

Here are 4 tags I made at Oak House Studios and finished at home.  I stamped and embossed onto the tags and then sprayed with Lynnda's inks.  After I got home I used Lynnda's inks to colour in the rose which is one of my favorite stamps.  These make lovely tags for presents especially if you make matching wrapping paper and card.

Summer School 2012

These are just a few of the amazing things we all made at Summer School at Oak House Studios last year.  We had a fantastic time getting messy with inks and stamping everything we could even polymer clay.

Lynnda worked very hard keeping the refreshments coming and always had a smile for us when we kept asking questions.

I would well recommend attending this year, I will be.
